Line Count
A line is defined as 65 key strokes. This means that a line is not a physical line of text so that the name and address of an individual to whom a letter is being sent will not equate to four or five lines. In fact it will probably equate only to one or one and a half lines. Consequently, fonts, font sizing, spacing and the number of pages do not matter for determining medical transcription prices. We feel this is fairest for our clients.
Invoicing
Billing for our medical transcription services is conveniently sent out electronically, at the beginning of the following month. Invoices are sent by e-mail and include a detailed log count for each dictation transcribed by our transcriptionists the previous month. Payment is accepted by check and Online account transfer.
